I got last year's version and this year's version. Last year's were quite thick fabric, but this year's fabric is thinner and much less soft (this could be due to the distressing process). I also noticed the fit is much more snug and the leg openings are smaller, even in a size large (usually wear mediums). I will need to add some fusible webbing to the pockets to prevent them from hanging low whenever I've got something in my pocket.
